Our Summer Camp program gives young people an opportunity to learn independence, build self-esteem, and develop critical social skills that will lead them to future success. Whether you’re looking for a fun adventure, or simply want your child to gain more independence in a supportive environment – Camp Jewell is the perfect place! Our top priority is creating an unforgettable summer camp experience where children can make lasting memories with their peers while growing into responsible young adults with strong values. Summer camp is much more than just a place for kids to get away from home, meet new friends and have fun. At Camp Jewell, we create a community of caring adults who help build self-respect and a safe environment where a kid can be a kid. Our campers and their families often tell us how much they appreciate our programs. We strive to create an experience at Camp Jewell YMCA that will last for many years.
At Camp Jewell YMCA, we know that selecting the right summer camp for your child is an important decision. That’s why we offer so many unique opportunities through our sleep away camp! From water sports like kayaking, canoeing, and sailing to creative activities like jewelry making, pottery, and art classes – there are countless ways your child can explore their interests in a safe environment at Camp Jewell.
Sleepaway Camp also provides children with an opportunity to learn valuable life skills such as leadership and problem solving in addition to social skills like communication and collaboration. Our trained counselors provide guidance throughout their stay so your child always feels supported by someone they trust.
