Our Fairfield preschool is housed in a former elementary school offering spacious classrooms with stimulating activity centers. The facility has a license capacity for 160 children, and like its sister school in Shelton has a low student to teacher ratio.

This eight-room school also features ALTERNATIVE KINDERGARTEN for those who need an additional year to mature prior to Kindergarten. Children review concepts that were introduced in the preschool program, as well as receive an introduction to Kindergarten concepts. The classroom size varies from 10 to 16 with a full and part-time teacher.

A Child's Garden has been providing quality care since 1981. Our Head Teachers are required to have a CDA, Associate or Bachelor's Degree. All of our teachers are First Aide & CPR trained as well as trained in administering medication.
