Betsy Rogers-Knox has been drawing and painting since childhood. Her love of nature and plants was nurtured by her English grandfather and eventually brought her to the New York Botanical Garden where she completed the Botanical Illustration Program in 2006. Betsy is enchanted by the full lifecycle of the plants she portrays in watercolor and usually observes the plant for a full year before beginning a composition. Betsy teaches both watercolor and drawing to both adults and children from her studio in Bethlehem Ct and at other venues in Litchfield County, Ct.
