Marine Life Study Cruise

Study marine biodiversity from the water’s surface down to the bottom for a first-hand understanding of Long Island Sound's interdependent marine life.

We utilize such sampling techniques as a plankton tow, trawl net and biodredge that generally bring up a variety of fish, crabs, mollusks and more right out of Long Island Sound right before your eyes!
2017 dates: 1 p.m. April 29 & 30. Then at 1 p.m. many Saturdays & Sundays through June 25. (No cruises May 6, 7, 13, 20 & 21 and June 3 & 17.) Daily at 1 p.m. in July & August.
