One of the largest operating model railroads (0-Scale) on the East Coast. Located in the basement of St. John's Episcopal Church in downtown Stamford. A holiday show for the public is held the two Saturdays after Thanksgiving.

The Stamford Model Railroad Club meets weekly on Tuesday nights. The club has been in exitstence since 1937 and operates "The Atlantic Trunk Lines" 0-Scale model railroad layout.  It is approximately 150' x 50' in size.  Highly detailed scale model trains run through equally detailed city and countryside. Fully operational miniature trolleys (streetcars) also operating taking their power from overhead wire as their full-size counterparts do - giving a glimpse into history local travel. Membership is open to adults over the age of 18. Club members provide their own trains/equipment which must meet the club's standards and there are yearly dues.  Please stop by on a Tuesday evening to explore membership.  The club operates a Holiday Open House usually held the two Saturdays after Thanksgiving. Hours for the show are 1pm to 5pm, and 7pm to 9pm.  Occasionally additional open houses are held. Basic information may be found at www.stamfordmodelrrclub.org and there are Youtube videos of the club on the internet.
