Summer Dance Programs

The Ballet School of Stamford offers seven weeks of Summer programming for students ages 3 to 18.
Lower School Program - Ages 3 to 8
July 5th to July 15th
Monday to Friday, 10am to 1pm
Our youngest dancers will take ballet, creative movement, theater dance, and arts & crafts. Your little one will have fun dancing, creating, and make new friends while learning from our wonderful faculty. Snacks are provided. Bring your lunch, leotard, tights and ballet shoes and come dance with us!
Summer Dance - Ages 8 to 16
July 18th to July 29th
Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm
Students will work on their ballet technique, pointe or pre-pointe and learn variations. Modern, theater dance, yoga and stretch classes from BSS faculty, guests, and a wellness evaluation by dance physical therapist allow them to explore different styles of dance and take care of their bodies, staying healthy and injury free. This program culminates in a studio showing for friends and family.
Summer Intensive - Ages 10 to 18
August 1st to 19th
Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm
Our most advanced students take leveled classes in classical ballet technique, pointe, variations,, modern and theater dance/jazz. Yoga and stretch classes balance out a challenging day of dancing, and dancers are evaluated by our dance physical therapist to stay healthy and injury free. This program culminates in a studio showing for friends and family.
