Toddler Mother Goose
*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 02/28/2017
Larger and louder than Baby Mother Goose, this program is designed to move children further along on the reading readiness spectrum. We continue with nursery rhymes, stories and play, and now the children are moving on their own.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Our Philosophy of Early Literacy:
Learning to Read Begins at Birth
Before children can learn to read, they must develop early literacy skills.
Our early literacy programs include FOUR PRACTICES that parents and caregivers can use to make it easier for children to learn to read:
TALKING
SINGING
READING
PLAYING
Being exposed to these activities can have a long-term impact on future reading achievement and academic success.
