Animal Caretakers & Encounters Clubs

Chopping salads, cleaning habitats and exercising animals are all among the duties of the members of the Animal Caretakers Club! We'll spend an hour each week from Sept. 24 - Dec. 14 learning about each of the unique 20+ species of animal that live here at the Nature Center, and what is required to keep them healthy, happy and thriving.
This is a real “hands-on” opportunity for kids who are particularly interested in animal life.
Please note: "Animal Caretakers Club" is for children in grades 2-6 and runs on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays; Our similar program for children in grades K-2 is called "Animal Encounters" and runs Wednesdays. All the classes run from 4-5PM.
