Our camp programs offer immersion in the natural world through the exploration of the Arboretum’s 93 acres of forest and gardens. Our programming is hands-on and incorporates STEAM concepts (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) in age-appropriate contexts. In addition to week specific programming, each camp segment allows time during the day for games and relaxation. Our aim is to make nature inviting and engaging. In inclement or extremely hot weather, we will continue our nature exploration in the air-conditioned environment of the Silver Educational Center. Weather conditions may require some changes to the anticipated programming.
Nature Immersion Experiences for ages K - 5th grades.
Week 1: ANIMAL TRACKING June 24 - 28 $425/week
Week 2: POTIONS AND CONCOCTIONS July 1 - 3 $255/week
Week 3: RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARTIFACT July 8 - 12 $425/week
Week 4: CRAFT AND BUILD July 15 - 19 $425/week
Week 5: BUG OUT July 22 - 26 $425/week
Week 6: WATER WORLD July 29 - August 2 $425/week
Week 7: GARDEN TO TABLE August 5 - 9 $425/week
Week 8: WILDERNESS SURVIVAL August 12 - 16 $425/week
Camp Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Snack provided, however, children should bring their own nut-free lunch. Children should dress appropriately for the weather.
