School’s Out - Spring Awakening - Lachat Farm (K-5)

March 20th is the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere! To celebrate this long-awaited season of transformation, children in grades K-5 are invited to join nature guide, Alexis Slavina, to closely witness the subtle transitions that are taking place on the land. We will search for the first blooms of wild edibles, visit our vernal pools to find signs of life, and reflect on the new sights, smells, and sounds.
This drop off program takes place outdoors, rain or shine, so dress your children for the weather and for active exploration of the farm. Don't forget to pack a snack and a water bottle for this day of exploration!
