Connecticut Science Center is OPEN! For President’s Day

School’s out, and the Connecticut Science Center has the perfect formula for a day full of family fun!

School’s out, and the Connecticut Science Center has the perfect formula for a day full of family fun! Join Mario the Maker Magician in an interactive show based almost entirely on recycled and homemade machines meant to inspire kids to nurture their own creative paths. The show brings together coding, magic, and robotics. This show will be presented two times at 11AM and 2PM and is included FREE with your Science Center General Admission or Membership. This weekend will also be the last you can slide around on our Sock Skating Rink and experience the magic of our Winter Wonderland Butterfly Encounter. When the kids are off from school on Monday, join Jungle Jim for Mousetrap Science- and engaging show that uses balloon artistry to teach children how simple machines work. This one of a kind show combines math, science, and art. It also shows them that by using their imagination, they can build their own amazing inventions! This show will be presented at 11:30AM on Monday, February 18 and is included FREE with your Science Center General Admission or Membership. This also kicks off National Engineer’s Week at the Science Center, highlighting special activities and programming designed to inspire problem-solving and innovation.
