Led by a certified First Lego League coach, students get to explore different basic robotic design concepts and implementation with hands-on coding experience to see their robots come alive within a thematic “ecosystem”. Not only will the students learn how to design, build, code, and test their robot using customized LEGO robotics sets, but they will also use their creativity to give the robot a purpose within the ecosystem by interacting with their peers' robots using AI elements in the coding process.
This term is focused on Robotic Deployment and an introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
No prior experience is needed. Class photos will be delivered to parents. This class will help to build a solid foundation for K-5 students to tackle the next stage of robotics learning with confidence and skills, while making new friends who share their interests in robotics! Your student will have the chance to be scouted to join Jragon Academy's FLL robotic competition team.
This class is offered in collaboration with the City of Stamford's Park and Recreation Department, after-school Program. One scholarship spot is available for neurodiverse children and students in the school's free-lunch program.
