Maritime Aquarium Summer Camp
Kids ages 4 to 15 can spend their summer immersed in the world of sharks, seals, crabs and fish through The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk’s 2020 Summer Camp programs.
The Maritime Aquarium will show campers the fun side of science inquiry, with lots of hands-on activities, experiments and – best of all – encounters with marine animals. Depending on the age group and week’s topic, activities even may include beach explorations and outings onto Long Island Sound aboard the Aquarium’s research vessel.
Single-day programs are available the week of June 15, and then our one-, two- and three-week sessions begin the week of June 22. New this year: full- and short-day programs for 4- and 5-year-olds, and several exciting new focuses for ages 6-8 and 9-12. Plus, our popular three-week “Teen Apprentice” program for ages 13-15 is offered in three sessions.
Most sessions meet from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Pre-care is available beginning at 8:30 a.m., and extended care runs until 5:30 p.m.
Prices vary by program. Aquarium members receive discounts. Limited financial aid is available.
As a Connecticut state-certified camp, the Aquarium requires health exam forms for every camper.
