The McKinley Elementary School Carnival returns this October! The McKinley School PTA is excited to host its eagerly-anticipated Carnival after a 2-year hiatus due to the global pandemic. This fun-for-all-ages event will offer families traditional and affordable entertainment that all can enjoy close to home.
The Carnival will run Friday, October 22, 6pm-10pm; Saturday, October 23, 1pm-10pm; and Sunday, October 24, 1pm-5pm, and is conveniently located at Jennings Beach in Fairfield. Parking is free. The only route to enter the Carnival is directly on South Benson Road; please do not use side roads. For event information, visit bit.ly/mckinley-carnival.
Admission is free. Wristbands for the special price of $30/each will be sold each day of the Carnival so kids and adults can enjoy unlimited rides all day and night. Single tickets will be also be available for purchase.
The Carnival will feature traditional rides, which are suitable for everyone from toddlers to adults, among many other attractions, through the PTA’s longstanding partnership with Stewart Amusement. Food and drink will be available, including hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese steaks, chicken fingers, French fries, pizza, and more. Carnival favorites, such as funnel cake, fried dough, ice cream, and fried Oreos will also be offered through F&W Caterers.
The Carnival is McKinley Elementary School’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds directly help fund cultural enrichment programs, sponsor educational field trips for the school’s diverse community, offer teacher grants, among other in-school programs.
