MoCA Westport is thrilled to announce Camp MoCA, a new weekly summer day camp for ages 3-13, that will run from June 7 - August 27, 2021. Each week of Camp MoCA will feature projects and activities such as: Recycled/Upcycling Art, Nature in Art, Engineering and Art, Chemistry and Art, Movement and Art, and more.

Registration for Camp MoCA is now open on MoCA Westport’s website (mocawestport.org/summer-camp).  An early registration discount of $100 per week is available through May 1, 2021. Campers may sign up for a single week or multiple weeks at a time, with registration ongoing through the summer.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, and will be led by certified educators, art instructors and CPR-certified camp counselors. Campers will be grouped into age ranges and will participate in a range of both indoor and outdoor activities.

Anne Greenberg, Director of Education at MoCA Westport, stated, "Camp MoCA offers kids an immersive experience. We have well-manicured, lush outdoor grounds for our campers to enjoy and a spacious indoor air-conditioned facility to engage in various hands-on, art-based activities that incorporate STEAM [Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math] within a 'maker-space' atmosphere.”

“The weeks each have a fun and unique twist so campers who join us for several weeks will never get bored - and every week campers will have opportunities to commune with nature, express themselves through the arts, enjoy special events, play and relax outdoors, and discover all that a day camp at a Contemporary Art Museum has to offer,” she added.

All safety protocols will be explicitly followed, including the wearing of masks by all campers and instructors.

Register now until May 1st to receive a $100 discount off of each week of Camp MoCA. After May 1st, weekly registration will be $595/week. To learn more about Camp MoCA, visit mocawestport.org/summer-camp or contact Kristen Young, Academy and Music Associate, at kristen@mocawestport.org.
