Our Summer Camp Day
Our action-packed Summer Art Camp 9am-4pm is guaranteed to keep campers engaged & inspired all summer long. Our award-winning art camps as well as teaching skills & techniques also help promote self-confidence and provide peace & relaxation and a respite for long summer days. We encourage each child to use their self expression & unique personalities to dive into their own Creative Journey.
Everyday is different- Camp Projects on Fun themes & subjects!
Art Camp projects are set everyday, designed around fun themes, subjects & genres. In our custom designed projects we will take inspiration from the world around us, general interest & things we adore! How about Planet Earth, Elephants, Mermaids, Trains, Architecture, Cars, Unicorns- the world is our oyster- how about oysters! We will also take inspiration from artists, past & present from Basquiat to Bansky! Learning fun applications & techniques they used & apply them to our own camp projects. Our camp day is both fun & educational and campers pick up professional skills that can be used for future artistic endeavors. We explore a huge variety of professional media including but not limited to: Painting, Drawing, Mixed-Media, Collage, Found Object Art & 3D Works- using recycled materials, Cartooning, Doodling, Manga Art, Anime Art!

Outdoor activities are held in our nearby Brooklyn Bridge Parks and are included in our Full Day Camp Day experience, weather permitting.

Half Day Camps do not necessarily include outdoor activities, depending on the project, and the day.

Lunch is at 12pm-1pm and will be taken in the park & will be chaperoned. During lunch campers are kept in their own groups & will not be allowed to mingle with other camp groups or with animation campers.

If you have siblings attending in different age groups, please advise them , so they know what to expect.
What to bring

A Mask (masks must cover nose & mouth & must be worn at all times while in the studio)

For Full Day Campers- A packed lunch (lunch is at 12-1pm & will be chaperoned & taken in Brooklyn Bridge Park, weather permitting

A water bottle or drink, any snacks you require (snacks & drinks are not to be shared with other students or staff)

Hand Sanitizer (we have hand sanitizer dispensers, but we also advise bringing your own personal stash)

Summer Half-Day Camps are offered mornings 9am-12pm or afternoon 1pm-4pm (one project will be completed & outdoor activities may or may not be included/ depending on the day & project)
