August 17-21

Your child deserves the best Norwalk has to offer, and we’ll provide that in this new program offered by The Maritime Aquarium and Stepping Stones Museum for Children! Campers will spend three days at the aquarium and two days at the museum. They will participate in a variety of interactive activities about water, energy, and habitats, visit exhibits at both sites, meet animal ambassadors, build a take-home project in the maker space, and see an IMAX movie. It will be an experience your child will not forget! Camp activities (including pre and extended-care) take place at Maritime Aquarium on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and at Stepping Stones on Tuesday and Thursday.

Registration is taken by the Maritime Aquarium.

2020 Summer Olympics: Going the Distance

Stepping Stones is forming it's own team of young Olympic fans to go the extra distance with a torch relay and opening ceremonies, team sports, X-games, and Olympic STEAM activities such as team training, direction and obstacle course setting, eco-friendly medal making and special guest visits. Closing ceremonies highlighting Team Stepping Stones accomplishments are planned each week. Space is limited, so sign up and join Team Stepping Stones today!

Dinosaurs: We're Diggin' It!

In this week long camp you're invited to join a respected World Heroes Opportunities (WHO) team of young paleontologists led by the wacky and wonderful Professor James. Set off on an amazing trek in the Stepping Stones Time Machine to discover the mind-boggling evolution of dinosaurs using tools of the paleontology trade and unearth stories of these amazing creatures.

Eco Kids Go Green

In this week long camp Eco Kids team members will start each day with an energizing yoga session and then, using mindfulness, imagination and creativity, they will embark on daily real world STEAM excursions to investigate, invent, and implement eco-friendly solutions to local and global environmental challenges.

Music Makers

In this week long camp you'll investigate the science of sound and discover the diverse and awesome world of music and music makers. Play and sing along with music makers of all shapes, sizes, styels, and types - even animals! Try out different instruments. Move and groove with special guest musicians during the week. Shake, rattle, stomp and roll. Build a band. Improvise and make music and music makers that are uniquely your own!

Science Central

In this week long camp you'll be under the tutelage of Professor D. Professor D specializes in the world of sensational science where matter matters, astronomy and astrophysics abound, and chemistry combines with, well...just about anything! Join us for a week long STEAM-fueled journey of scientific explorations featuring star searches, kitchen chemistry, body basics and more!
