Do you have a burning question about the history of Fairfield? Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Green and learn about the people, places, and events that shaped Fairfield’s 375 years of history. Walk on the site of the 1639 colonial settlement and find out more about Roger Ludlow, Fairfield’s Puritan roots, and the 17th century “witch ducking experiments.” Pass by the 1780 Burr Homestead where John Hancock married Dorothy Quincy and learn how Thaddeus and Eunice Burr honored John’s aunt Lydia. These stories and more await on this fascinating journey. Sponsored by First County Bank Foundation.
