Virtual Teen Comic Strip Writing workshop with Royal Oak Public Library

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 10/07/2021
This program teaches kids to understand literature as a writer, not just a reader. On Thursday, October 7 at 7:00pm, Eisner Award-winning Graphic Novelist, Gene Ha, will lead students ages 11-18 to create their own comic strip by building a story using examples from popular comic strips. The story is set up, a dramatic question is posed, and the resolution answers the question with an entertaining payoff.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
