When school is closed for a day or a week, our workshops and vacation camps offer hands-on time outside and endless possibilities for adventure. Learn how people lived before electricity was invented. Discover how American Indians created tools and built homes without power tools, and played games without iPads or electricity.

Friday, March 15th 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Learn how people lived before electricity was invented. Discover how American Indians created tools and built homes without power tools, and played games without iPads or electricity.

Where Did You Find That Rock?

Monday, March 25th 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 

Preschool Only Join us as we explore the local RNC quarry in search of mica, quartz, feldspar, and gneiss. Children will learn to identify rocks local to Rye and about some of the magnificent rocks found around the world.
