At Wild Botanicals Camp, we learn about plant medicine and food by foraging to make healing salves and other simple, wholesome gifts from the land. Your child will also try things like dandelion fritters, garlic mustard stir fry, wild tea, and many other delicious wild dishes.

Two Coyotes Wilderness School offers up to 9 weeklong day camp sessions at our Newtown & Granby locations. Each session is led by skilled nature mentors who will introduce your child to primitive and naturalist skills by tailoring each camp day to match the natural curiosity of their campers. Along the way, all campers learn nature-inspired games, songs, and have free time to explore streams, mountainsides, and other unexpected nature mysteries encountered throughout the day.

Camp starts with a morning game and gratitude circle. Mornings are spent focusing on wilderness projects and learning skills such as building a primitive shelter, making pottery, or learning how to sneak invisibly through the forest. After lunch, our afternoons are filled with storytelling, playing in the river, and games that apply the skills we learned in the morning. We close each day with a sharing circle and group song.

Above all, our nature summer camps get kids outside and having fun! Our mentors use the natural world to teach campers valuable life skills. We believe that nature is the perfect place for children to learn about their personal gifts and how to overcome life’s challenges. Our small group size and exceptional adult mentors ensure a high quality experience filled with memories and new friendships. Read parent & camper testimonials here.
