Woodcock presents: Winter Tree Identification Walk

Join David Beers, the Western Connecticut Service Forester for the CT DEEP Division of Forestry on this walk along Woodcock trails. If you can identify trees in the winter, you can identify trees any time of year! It can be a bit tricky when the trees are bare of leaves, but the bark is always there for you to learn. We will also learn some growth characteristics and a few fun facts of our most common trees!
