Pick Your Own Apples, Pumpkins & Raspberries

As the primary fruit of our orchard, apples are readily available from mid-August to late October. On site, we grow over 20 varieties of apples that suit all your needs whether it be for cooking, gifts, or a quick snack on the go. At our PYO locations, we provide bags at no cost and on the weekends a tractor trailer rides takes you from our parking area into the orchard. For specific varieties, we recommend calling us before you come in to make sure we have just the right apple for you! Other than the PYO season, we always have a wide selection of apples year round to choose from right in our Farm Market due to our special storage units that keep the apples “Tree fresh” long after they have been picked. The 2018 Pick-Your-Own season is currently underway! Raspberries, Peaches and Apples (some varieties) are currently open for picking in Guilford! Our Northford Orchard is OPEN from Sept. 8th – late Oct. (end of season) for Apple picking ONLY. Hours are weekends and Columbus Day from 10am-5pm. 17th Century Encampment at the Pequot Museum

Visit the Pequot Museum farmstead on September 21 & 22, 2018 for a unique chance to experience Native American and European life in the 17th Century! Native, English, Dutch, and French reenactors will portray different aspects of daily life (circa 1600-1700) outdoors for two full days. Visitors are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities including wampum making, cooking, militia drills, cannon drills, basket making, pottery, archery, lacrosse, children’s games and much more. See living history displays from the Pequot War (1636-1637) and King Philips War (1675-1677) period. There will also be live cooking demonstrations, a stone tool workshop where visitors can make their own arrowheads and special food dishes available in the museum restaurant. Learn how to make an arrow, corn husk dolls, dip candles, and see how pottery was made three hundred years ago.

The Oyster Festival- Oyster Bay, NY
