King School
When young learners see education as a place to experiment, create, construct, and connect, they develop a more expansive mindset about what “school” can offer them. They experience education as a path of discovery, understanding, wonder, and joy. These ideas are grounded in the Reggio-Emilia inspired, project-based teaching and learning practiced at King School. We encourage our PreKindergarten and Kindergarten learners to collaboratively explore intentionally created vibrant classroom spaces where children are actively engaged in the process of learning from the earliest ages.
The Children's School

The Children’s School, with over 60 years of expertise, supports each student with dedicated teachers and a personalized program. Children are immersed in a rich curriculum of music, art, science, movement, numeracy, and books, with materials designed to inspire hands-on exploration. Here hearts and minds are nurtured in an environment filled with learning and love. The Apple Blossom School and Family Center
Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center is inspired by Waldorf education. Founded in Europe in 1919, Waldorf education is based on a profound understanding of human development that addresses the needs of the growing child. Waldorf’s time-tested pedagogy is designed to address the whole child: head, heart and hands. It stimulates the mind with the full spectrum of traditional academic subjects. It nurtures healthy emotional development by conveying knowledge experientially as well as academically. And it works with the hands throughout every day, both in primary academic subjects and in a broad range of artistic handwork and craft activities.
Our programs lay the foundation for a joyful and fulfilling educational experience. It is our teachers' intention to preserve children’s natural sense of wonder and their sense of oneness with and unselfconscious participation with the world. Because young children respond strongly to rhythm and regularity in their lives, Waldorf early childhood programs are based on a strong rhythmic element, which includes ample time for free play and time in nature.
