Bricks 4 Kids Fairfield County has Remote Control Mania Summer Camps at a variety of locations this summer. We provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO® bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play.
Super Science is a 2- week enrichment program offered to children entering grades 1 -8 for over ten years now. Classes are taught by certified teachers. There are a variety of classes offered such as Dinosaurs, Space, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Forensics, Robotics, Physical Science, Human Biology, Environmental Science and many more. These fast paced classes offer 3-5 hands-on experiments per day. It's just two short weeks each year located at New Milford High School with their beautiful lab facilities. If your child loves science then this is the program for him or her.
Debate Camp is built for the eager learner in grades 5 to 11, who has an emerging interest in the wider world and seeks to engage others in debate and dialogue on the important matters of our time. No previous experience is necessary. We provide training in parliamentary debate, persuasive and impromptu public speaking as well as Model UN simulation. Our camps are a welcoming and safe place to develop new and valuable skills. Connecticut families can find us in West Hartford, at the Kingswood Oxford School and NEW in 2018, at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT. Join us this summer!
Capitol Debate Summer CampsCapitol Debate is proud to announce its 40+ Summer Debate Camp locations in the United States this year.
You can count on Capitol Debate to help your child to build communication and critical thinking skills, which leads to better academic performance.
The curricula of our middle school debate camps aim to equip children with the ability to structure arguments, prepare debate cases, research evidence, write rebuttal briefs, deliver speeches and refute opponents.
Not only will Capitol Debate students learn debating skills; they will feel an increase in self-worth, learn critical thinking skills and improve communication with their peers.
Many of our former campers have gone on to participate in national debate tournaments and enroll in prestigious universities (UCLA, Stanford, USC, and Harvard to name a few).
