Petite dancers will enjoy this joyful summer experience. Each day, ballet class will be followed by a dance-related craft, story ballet time, rhythm, and choreography. Students will be introduced to the beginnings of ballet and will develop their coordination, self-confidence, flexibility, focus, musicality, and love of dance in a nurturing and positive environment. This camp will run from 6/8 to 6/18. One and two-week sessions are available.

The Katonah Art Center offers one-week summer camps for children ages 3.5 through Grade 12, with flexible morning, afternoon, and full-day options to suit busy families. The Art and Imagination camp for younger children (ages 3.5–5) blends arts and crafts, free art play, and age-appropriate exploration, with a different creative theme inspiring each week. For kids in grades 1–5, camp options include Jewelry, Painting, Pottery, Animation, 3D Printing, and more, encouraging experimentation across a variety of mediums. Teen Intensives for grades 6 and up focus on specialized topics such as Pottery, Outdoor Painting, Fused Glass, Mural Painting, and 3D Printing. Our professional teaching artists create a warm, supportive, and inspiring environment for creative expression.

A beginner-level class, we invite our young dancers to discover the joy and magic of movement set to music. Classes will run on Mondays from 7/13 to 8/10.

A dance class for students in grades K-2, where dancers will be prepared for the requirements of Ballet 1 and 2. At the start of the matriculated ballet program at the academy, students develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and musicality as they begin to learn some basic ballet vocabulary. Instructors are professionals in the field and emphasize the joy of dance in a nurturing and positive environment. Classes will run on Wednesdays from 7/15 to 8/12.
