Looking for something for your kids to do during April break week? Spend the mornings at the NBMAA! Create your own artworks taking inspiration from the Museum's special exhibitions and newly installed artworks from the permanent collection and play games outdoors on the Museum’s beautiful grounds (weather permitting). Vacation Day Camp at Earthplace are days filled with opportunities for discovery, engineered for ages 3-12. Depending on the season, we spend time climbing trees or the rocks at Big Rock Junction, getting to know the Earthplace trails, or perfecting fort-building skills. When inside, students work on age-appropriate nature-based art projects and take time to visit our residents in Animal Hall. Join our Spring Conservation Camp and have your kids explore the science of the springtime. For budding young conservationists, outdoor kids, nature lovers, etc. Epic adventures in Westmoreland’s pristine woodland environment. Campers will hike near and far and conduct water testing, turtle surveys, measure tree growth, remove invasive plants, band and release wild birds, conduct game camera studies, and more.
