For this four-week session, led by art teacher Tiffany McKay, the artist of focus is Georgia O’Keeffe, the American modernist painter known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. The children will be working with pastel, charcoal, watercolor and acrylic while learning to combine O’Keeffe’s sense for line, color and composition she used to produce her deceptively simple works.
