Shoott is a small female-run startup that provides fun and convenient 30 min photo sessions with photographers whose work has been featured in Elle, GQ, Vanity Fair, and the like. Our mission is to provide great photography to everybody – so our sessions are complimentary and our photos are priced at just $15 each or less, with no obligation to buy.

The first museum in the country with a singular focus on American art, the New Britain Museum of American Art is an inspiring, educational, and creative place to bring your family! Enjoy performances and artmaking at our monthly free Access for All Community Days, create your own art in our Saturday morning children's classes or special Homeschool Days, and spend time in our kid-friendly Art & Book Nook or Makerspace—free to use with Museum admission!

The Silvermine School of Art offers courses and workshops for children and teenagers (ages 3-17) and adults year-round. Enjoy a fun and educational experience on Silvermine’s 4-acre campus with its art studio classrooms, sculpture walk, and picturesque waterfall.  Younger ones will gain new competence; older students can deepen knowledge of technique and composition or strengthen a portfolio for college.
