2016 Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope

Walk or run to celebrate survivors, support those facing cancer and remember those lost while raising funds for CancerCare’s free, professional support services available to anyone affected by cancer. Families, individuals and teams welcome. A children’s half-mile fun run starts at 9 a.m. followed by a USATF-sanctioned 5K at 9:15 a.m.

9:00 a.m. 1/2-Mile Children's Fun Run
9:15 a.m. 5K Walk/Run for Hope Begins
10:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony
Walk Location:
Greenwich Point Park, 99 Tods Driftway, Greenwich, CT
From I-95 North or South: Turn right off exit 5 and take US 1 to Sound Beach Avenue. Turn onto Sound Beach Avenue, go under I-95 Bridge, keep right at rotary and follow Sound Beach Avenue through Old Greenwich to the end. Turn right onto Shore Road and follow into Greenwich Point.
Parking:
Please drive into the park and follow CancerCare signs to the second concession stand area.
Participation Fees (includes t-shirt):
Adults (13 and older): $40 minimum donation
Children (12 and under): $20 minimum donation for 5K and fun run, $10 minimum donation for fun run only
Register early! The event is limited to the first 500 registrants.
Awards will be given to the top individual and team fundraisers!

Walk/Run for Hope takes place rain or shine!
- The 5k (3.1 mi.) run is on a sanctioned USATF course.
- All participants will receive a Walk/Run for Hope t-shirt.
