Bruce Explorers: Shark Teeth Forensics

Sunday, August 18, 1:00 – 2:30 PM

Do you have a young scientist eager to do some exciting, hands-on work in a laboratory setting? This new drop-off program is designed for children ages 7 to 16 who are ready to take a deep dive into science. Our Bruce Explorers will get to learn about a wide variety of science topics in this program. This month’s Bruce Explorers will have children becoming shark teeth experts. In this lab, children will get to use basic forensic tools to help them identify sharks and their teeth. Children will even get to make a cast of a prehistoric shark tooth to take home that they can study later! For more information about Bruce Explorers, contact Megan Brown at mbrown@brucemuseum.org or 203-413-6740.
