Classes for Homeschoolers at Oddfellows Playhouse in Middletown begin October 14th

Registration is now open for Homeschool Classes at Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater located at 128 Washington Street in Middletown! Beginning October 14th, classes in theater will be offered for homeschool students, ages 6 to 18. Both classes meet Mondays, 1:30 - 3 pm for 5 sessions this fall (October 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11)
Students ages 6 - 12 are encouraged to sign up for THE COMPLETE ACTOR with Lauren McCarthy. Through a variety of games, exercises, and short scenes, students will build foundational acting skills such as voice, movement, and characterization!
Students ages 13 - 18 are invited to join THE COMPLEATE SHAKESPEAREAN with Marcella Trowbridge. This on-your-feet exploration of the Bard dives into scansion, metrical structure, text analysis, vocal production, emotional literacy, plot and character development. Embodiment, comprehension, clarity. Ensemble, small group, solo work, text, memorization, play!
Tuition: $100 for either of the five week classes. $90 for additional students from the same family.
