CAG is committed to connecting teachers in Connecticut and the region with leading thinkers and expert educators in a diversity of fields that value creativity in learning. With this aim, CreativityCon was born in 2014.

CreativityCon is committed to giving educators the opportunity to experience creative learning themselves. We have partnered with educator and author Kathryn Haydon of Sparkitivity (http://sparkitivity.com), to tap into her national network of innovative colleagues and offer support to speakers in designing their own interactive workshops. Kathryn is a graduate of the International Center for Studies in Creativity and Northwestern University and has over two decades of experience in creative and gifted education. She co-wrote Creativity for Everybody (2015) and Discovering and Developing Talents in Spanish-Speaking Students (2012).
