The Great Pumpkin Festival- Stratford

The Great Pumpkin Festival is a fun, annual family event held each year at Boothe Memorial Park. This year's festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 20th from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. As in past years, the festival will feature an adjudicated pumpkin carving contest.
 

The festival will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm and is a wonderful family-oriented event. This year we are adding a Falconer Show and Live Animal Experience.  It will include a children's costume parade (3:00 sharp) with prizes, DJ music, games, crafts, face painting, refreshments, pie baking contest, scarecrow judging contest, 4 Moonbounces, horse-drawn hayrides, roaming railroad and showcase the various historic buildings at the park, including tours of the Model Train Museum and Observatory. Bunnell High School STAGE theater group will perform skits and costumed actors from the Players at Putney Gardens will be strolling the grounds.
