Homeschool Day: Winter Games & Cozy Crafts at Connecticut River Museum
BRRR! When it gets cold, the Connecticut River freezes, which causes all sorts of challenges, from transportation to day-to-day life and, most importantly…boredom. Learn how people along the River entertained themselves during the coldest parts of the year. We’ll play games and learn how to weave our own cozy craft!

Curriculum Connections: Local history will be the focus of this lesson. Rooted in community practices, we’ll comb through primary and secondary sources to learn more about the winter months in waterfront towns.
