Housebound: A Baker's Dozen of Documentary Shows on Instant Netflix (And More)

The weather is terrible, and it could be a long day. How about watching something that will both entertain and teach everyone something? Yes, a few of these might be too much for your very youngest kids, but you're likely to find at least a couple for anyone who's home today.

Instant items come and go on Netflix. Here's a list of documentaries that have been available "on instant" before, but are currently only available via DVD:

Some movies are great, but may not be appropriate for your children. For example, Super Size Me is currently available via instant Netflix, and it will likely convince you to drastically cut down on your food consumption, but bad language and other choices make it better for teenagers.
