Llama Llama Pajama Party & Fundraiser!

Join us Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 beginning at 3:00pm on the 2nd floor of the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824 (203) 255-7756 for a special Kids Story Time ~ Llama Llama Pajama Party and Fundraiser!
Kids ages 3 & up are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite pajamas. A Llama Llama story will be read aloud and kids will have a chance to meet Llama Llama himself. A live costume character will be on hand to meet & greet little fans and pose for pictures. The Fairfield University Bookstore will be giving away some plush Llama Llama dolls in a free raffle. There will be freebies for all who attend. Please RSVP to FairfieldUBookstreEvents@gmail.com. This event is free and open to the public.
Although donations are optional, parents are encouraged to bring a pair of new pajamas to be donated to the PajamaProgram.org—whose mission is to offer children in need the magical gifts of pajamas and books by bringing a caring bedtime ritual into their lives.
Changing out of their clothes and into warm, cozy pajamas lets them shed the stresses of their day, trading them for feelings of warmth and hope. With enchanting stories, their imaginations are opened, helping them to dream again. These unconditional gifts fill them with love and a feeling of being cared for, transitioning them to bedtime and delivering a good night — preparing them for a good day that leads to a better life. For every pair of new pajamas donated on Nov. 18th at the downtown Bookstore event, our Penguin Publishing partner will match that donation with a new book.
