These new hand-on history/art workshops are designed as a series on Saturday mornings, each devoted to the same project in order to allow time to explore more deeply. There will be a new project to delve into each month. October's is Making Rag Rugs with a Hula Hoop.
We'll show you how to turn your outgrown or rarely worn t- shirts into amazing rugs! Empty out your closets, we're recycling and weaving rag rugs. Bring your hula hoop and old t-shirts for cutting up. As autumn weather arrives, make your room cosy with a soft rug.
