The Ballet Etudes Company returns to the Westport Country Playhouse for its 28th annual performance of The Nutcracker. The Ballet Etudes Company will perform the iconic holiday ballet alongside extraordinary guest artists.
Georgina Pazcoguin, soloist with New York City Ballet and currently performing as Victoria in the Broadway production of “CATS” will join the Ballet Etudes Company as the Sugar Plum Fairy. This will be Ms. Pazcoguin’s fourth Nutcracker season with the Ballet Etudes Company. Zachary Catazaro, soloist with New York City Ballet will also be performing in the role of the Cavalier. We welcome these exceptional professional artists to our community. Their mastery of dance is an inspiration to the company and audiences alike.
This robust holiday favorite, with nearly a 100-member cast, has become a tradition to enjoy by all ages. The classic story set to the music of Tchaikovsky is a seasonal delight for families and ballet enthusiasts.
Performances will be held on: Saturday, December 10th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm and Sunday, December 11th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Tickets can be purchased beginning Tuesday, November 1st through the Westport Country Playhouse box office (203.227.4177) and online at www.westportplayhouse.org.
($40 for adults/$20 for children and students with a valid ID/$30 for seniors 65+)
