With humble beginnings as a small parish festival, Our Lady of the Assumption Church's SeptemberFest has grown over the last two decades into one of the most sought after 'end of summer' community events in Fairfield. This year, the good folks of Fairfield and its surrounding towns will enjoy its 23rd annual SeptemberFest on the church grounds. The SeptemberFest tradition kicks off on Friday, September 16 at 6 p.m. and ends on Sunday, September 18 at 6 p.m. The summer season’s closure is not complete without this three-day family and community event where seemingly overnight the church grounds are transformed into a lively, family-friendly and energy-filled fun fairground.
