Alien Invaders: Scavenger Hunt

After learning what an invasive species is and how they can impact our local environment, set out to see how many you can find. You may not realize it, but there are invaders all around you!

After learning what an invasive species is and how they can impact our local environment, set out to see how many you can find. You may not realize it, but there are invaders all around you! Non-native species are those that were brought into our area and therefore did not evolve here. When a non-native plant or animal outcompetes its native rivals, it is labeled as invasive. It is important to know how to spot invasive species so that you can help protect the local plants and wildlife we love! This family-fun program is a great way to have an adventure outdoors, while helping to save the native environment.
Ages 5 and up.
$5 members, $8 non-members.
