Birdcraft Family Day - The Magic Merlin
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 05/17/2025
Learn about Merlins and build a model of this fascinating bird.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Merlins are fierce little falcons that were known in medieval times as the hunting companion of noblewomen. Today, Merlin populations have largely recovered from twentieth-century declines, thanks to a ban on the pesticide DDT and their ability to adapt to life around towns and cities. Join us to build and decorate your own recycled wood Merlin model to take home. Registration required. For kids up to 10 years accompanied by a participating adult.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
