Celebrate Spring

Come and join us this Spring as we welcome in the warmer weather with our annual Celebrate Spring Festival and Seedling Sale, sponsored by Haynes! Of course, you need to come and see us primarily for your organically grown seedlings, but don't forget the other things we have in store!
Each year, we host workshops at the farm to help you think of ways of to bring nature closer to you or your diet. Our community vendors also share local talents, crafts, and fare as you wander around to some live music. But of course, you need to dance to the live music, which is why we wrap our Maypole every year with bright ribbon, which serves as a reminder of Spring for us throughout the entire year. Another (new!) fun activity this year is a Fairy House exhibit throughout the farm which showcases local artisans!
The artists taking part in our Fairy house/garden exhibit to help Celebrate Spring: Laura Usowski, Christian John Dimenna, Hannah Johnson, Anatar Marmol-Gagne, Craig Gilbert , Alison Walsh, Greg Shea, Gabriella Svenningsen , Jaime Kriksciun, and Dylan Vitale.
This year the festivities will be on May 19th. There is no admission price to join the fun.
Workshops during the event included: Garden Readiness, Learn to make Cheese, Worm Composting, and more!
Other scheduled events: Trail walks, Wrapping the Maypole, Cooking Demos with Global Local Gourmet, Songs and Stories with JP Library, and Fill the worm bin.
