After completing thirteen years of school, most students head off to school feeling academically prepared but is your student ready for the challenges that occur outside of the classroom setting? In this course, students will learn about how to survive next year and beyond by reviewing topics such as time management, campus and personal safety, medical and emotional well being, and life in the dorms. Students will hear from a variety of presenters such as current college students, Darien Police Officers, college employees (campus security officers, resident coordinators, etc.), and other professionals (local mental health expert, physician with college-age patient experience, etc.) regarding how students can set themselves up for success over the next four years.
