The Connecticut Audubon Society’s summer camp at the Center at Fairfield is a state-licensed camp offering weekly sessions for preschoolers from 9 a.m. to noon, and for ages 5 to 11 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Campers attend week-long, nature-themed programs to learn about wildlife up close, and build life-long connections to the natural world while having fun outdoors in a safe, small group setting.
A choice of different themes each week offers opportunities to investigate nature’s riddles, learn about protecting wildlife habitats, develop outdoor skills and meet live animals. All camp programs are led by teacher-naturalists and counselors experienced in working with children.
Camp programs will follow the policies and guidance specific to COVID-19 provided by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood Education. All campers will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
