What’s teeny tiny, seldom seen, but often heard this time of year? It’s the Spring Peeper Frog! Join us for an evening quest on Friday, April 1, when we’ll venture into the Connecticut Audubon Society’s Larsen Sanctuary to listen for spring peepers in the marsh, and search for more secretive animals like spotted salamanders and wood frogs, as well as the shy and increasingly rare woodcock. Boots, flashlights and warm attire are strongly suggested. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
