Have you ever looked at a pond up close? There’s a multitude of living creatures who call it home. Join the Connecticut Audubon Society in Fairfield for an expedition in search of pond creatures that swim, soar, slide and crawl!
On a guided walk in the Center at Fairfield’s Larsen Sanctuary we’ll look for tadpoles, frogs, insects, turtles and other creatures that live in the wetland habitat of Farm Pond. It’s a great place to observe nature in a setting that attracts so many kinds of wildlife. Plan on getting your feet wet!
The program runs from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street. This family event is good for ages 3 and up (no strollers please). Be sure to wear boots. CAS members $5, non-members $8. Pre-registration required. Call 203-259-6305 x.109, or visit: https://www.ctaudubon.org/fairfield-home/
