Farm and Forest Learning Events

Time: 10 AM - 12 PM
Ages: all ages welcome. These are school days for most districts and these classes are primarily intended for preschoolers and homeschoolers of all ages!
Location: Common Ground, 358 Springside Ave, New Haven
Tuesday, September 24: Farm Tour and make your own harvest pizza
Meet our friendly farm animals, watch the honeybees at work, and taste some honey! Each child will also make an individual pizza from scratch and top it with fresh veggies and herbs from the garden.
Wednesday, September 25: Fall hike and campfire cooking
Enjoy a short hike through the woods, ending at our campfire circle. Gather at the campfire to wrapping dough around sticks to make roasted bannock bread to eat! Children will also enjoy playtime in our Forest Village playspace.
Thursday, September 26: Farm Tour and make your own harvest pizza

The enrollment fee is $15 per child and online registration is open HERE!
Children must attend with an adult. No charge for adults or for children under 2 years old when attending with a registered sibling.
