Flanders Summer Camp!
Your young campers will be amazed as they learn about all the creatures that share our world. Hands on activities engage and entertain children as they discover insects, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and mammals. We build a foundation of environmental awareness and care during early years that can last a lifetime.

Your child’s science books come to life at Flanders’ Sugar House this summer! Daily adventures are filled with exciting discoveries about animal life cycles, ecosystems, habitats and environmental concerns. Our future earth stewards will connect to nature as they develop awareness of life on our ever-changing planet!

There’s something marvelous about spending time with the animals at Flanders’ North Barn during summer. Bouncing baby goats, sheep, ponies and other animals entertain children along with the wonders the newborn life of our soft baby bunnies and fluffy chicks. Hayrides, hikes, stories, games, art and good old fashioned fun are part of the best summer fun. Come down for an amazing agricultural adventure.

Kids in the Kitchen
Young Chefs will discover local farm products and creative cooking are all part of learning about food, science and fun to grow up healthy and strong! Daily hikes to the farm and garden help connect the “dish of the day” to the fresh ingredients we use. Space is limited to 10 students. NO FOOD ALLERGIES PLEASE.

Nature, Art & Imagination!
Children will develop a sense of wonder as they explore and create works of art inspired by Flanders wildlife and habitats. Observation and imagination combine with hands-on discoveries while painting, sketching or sculpting to express their own individual artistic ideas as they connect to nature.

With each footstep on the trails and each scoop in the pond, our future earth stewards will discover diversity of life at Flanders. The forest, wetland, and fields become a living laboratory as youth capture, observe, and release unique creatures as a hands-on way to learn, connect to and enjoy nature. Each amazing discovery inspires youth to protect these natural spaces.
