FREE Winter Solstice Celebration

This is a magical way to kick off the winter school break in the woods.
The winter solstice marks the start of winter
and the longest night and shortest day of the year.
Join us to celebrate nature, community,
and the slow return of the sun!

Activity stations open from 2 - 4 include:
- Make a solstice lantern to take home
- Enjoy a campfire and a special hot solstice drink
- Explore and imagine in our Forest Village play space
At 4 PM we will gather at the campfire to add our wishes for the new year to a special handcrafted wish basket that we will burn in the fire and send our wishes up into the evening sky.
Please plan to arrive no later than 3:30 PM if you'd like to make your own lantern. Lantern making is indoors, and all other activities are outside. The animal yards will NOT be open during this event
Children must attend with and be supervised by an adult, and all ages are welcome. No dogs please.
